June 05, 2017 By BHW New Build
The free Help to Buy event, took place at The Grand Hotel, Granby Street, Leicester, LE1 6ES on Saturday 3rd June from 10am until 4pm, and provided visitors with an opportunity to meet a range of housing professionals, who helped would-be-homeowners unlock their buying potential and get onto the property ladder.
Over 500 people attended the roadshow. With new-build house builders, mortgage advisors and solicitors on hand, visitors to the roadshow increased their property knowledge and left with lots of useful information. The Help to Buy Midlands team was also there to explain more about what Help to Buy is and to give information about the different home buying options that are available.
BHW New Build solicitors attended to provide guidance on the conveyancing process of purchasing a new build home, along with giving general advice with regards to the legal processes involved in conveyancing. We met with lots of great homebuyers at different stages of their new home journeys, from first time buyers attending with their parents and just starting to save to people who had homes to sell but were new to purchasing new build properties.
